Well i had done Melbourne, so me and my now sorer butt made our way to the airport to catch my flight to Auckland, New Zealand. I was sad to be leaving Australia but excited (obviously) to be seeing the family and seeing a new country...on their expense is always good!
Flew in, and got greeted by the said family (its so nice to have someone waiting for you at arrivals) and then got in Mary's car and headed to her little house. For the next week we chilled out, read magazines, went to the beach, drank lots of hot chocolates and chocolate biscuit smoothies and did some shopping. I was on cloud 9 just to be in a home for a period of time and obviously seeing the family is lovely too.
One of the days we also went into Auckland city centre, on the train. Me and Holly mooched to music the entire way there, oblivious to the stares of everyone, and then shopped! We then went up the sky tower (really really tall) and i was even brave enough to lean against the glass right at the top...and so did holly-funny photos to be added soon..
After that the family and i went and got lunch at a great restaurant, one of the top chefs in Auckland and i had fish-amazing, one of the best meals i've ever had-and definitley one of the best i've had on my trip, not that that is hard really.. After i'd stuffed 3 courses into my stomach (and mum was worried about me having lost weight when i first arrived!!) we wandered around the harbour and then jumped back onto the train to arrive home.
I dont think ive ever slept so much in my entire life, a lot of nights i was getting 10/11 hours a night, not that it was hard since the night life was non-existant bless little papakoura suburb!
After spending a really nice week with Mary it was time to say "goodbye" and fly to Christchuch, where the real adventure/crazy NZ travelling begins...for 10 days at least...then its back to the budget!

Oh Cate, You missed a Dilly of a party, Bobby showed off his lack of drinking ability. He vomited all night through our Easter Brunch, and his little Miss stood by his side without cussing him out. I kicked him in the ribs. Jeffry is a horrible influance, and I have the pictures to prove it. Take care and be safe. Love linda
