Day 28 - One Month!

14.15 – I didn’t have time to write in here yesterday because I was busy making friends! I can’t believe I have been travelling a month, sometimes it feels like ages but really it’s not very long at all. Anyway, I met some Canadians who are sleeping in my dorm. They are a lot older than me (24/25) and they are very loud. They are from Toronto and again, they won’t be here for very long but I had a second breakfast with them anyway. I then showed them around town and the harbour where we got some good photos. Time passed pretty quickly especially since we had spent ages looking for a café that turned out to be closed. Before I knew it, I had to get back to the hostel so I could get ready for work. I had to rush around like a headless chicken to get ready but I couldn’t have a shave because I have lost my razor which is a right bastard because they are expensive to replace. In the end I paid just under $20 for one which is ok. Work went ok, it was busy and I was feeling a bit lazy so I was pretty tired at the end of the night. It turns out I am supposed to finish at 23.00, not closing time like I did last night! Despite my tiredness and aching feet, I still went out with the girls though I was a bit embarrassed as they are older and a bit minging! One of them was trying to come on to me as well but I turned her down. We had quite a good time dancing, I spent the last of this weeks money. Eventually though, the tiredness got to me and I decided to go to bed. Another long day.
