When we got back from Abu Simbel, we went on a little tour of the Nile around Aswan on a felucca.  It was really pretty, the water and the scenery and everything, so it was really nice to just ride around.  We then made our way to a beach where we waited to go on a camel ride.  It was super touristy, but that was fine with me, because as much as I wanted to ride a camel I was scared so I figured touristy camels wouldn't go fast or anything.  So we just rode the camels to a Nubian village, in a straight line, so it wasn't too bad, although my camel guy kept walking away!  The handlers walked beside the camels but he kept leaving to go talk to his friends, which was a little scary, but I managed.  He also kept making me get my camel to cut other ones in line so he could be near his camel herder friends, so that was crazy because my camel had to jog to cut.  So I got to go fast on the camel but I was really nervous the whole time!  When we got there, we had dinner in this Nubian house and they actually had really good food.  At the end they played music and made us all dance, but it was really fun.

The next day we didn't have anything planned, but they took us to the Aswan market to shop a little bit.  I didn't get too much there, but it was interesting to see.  The markets are a little overwhelming though, as every vendor is constantly bugging you to go into their shop, and you have to haggle a lot if you actually want to get anything.  They also almost verbally harrass the women, so I had to stick next to the guys in our trip, because walking by yourself wasn't fun.  They never said anything horrible, just things like "I love you" and "Beautiful" but they would just be creepy, so I liked groups.  Otherwise though, it's fun to see all the different shops.  I was excited to get back to the hotel though, because it was ridiculously hot that day, probably close to 100 degrees.  The Egyptian people were used to it I guess, because they were wearing sweaters and everything, but it was hot.  When we came back we had some time to relax, and then catch our last night train back to Cairo.
