After Stocking up the Car with Jade from Greymouth. We headed back over the Arthur’s Pass. This is the second Pass over the Southern Alps and one of the most scenic drives in New Zealand. We stopped for a fine cup of coffee at Arthur’s Pass village and enjoyed the view from New Zealand’s highest settlement above sea level.
Its worth being a little wary on the NZ roads, every now and then you share the same one lane bridge as the trains, and then its just a mad dash for it…
