Colombia is divided into many different regions; Armenia is one of the 3 most important cities on the ‘coffee axle’ which include 3 states: Caldas, Risaralda and Quindio. Armenia is the capital of Quindio and serves as the hub for many of the different things to do in this area. The part north is known as the ‘Avenida Bolivar’ and it has a lot of different bars, clubs and restaurants to go to. One of the really good things is how good and cheap public transportation is. There’s a bus like that pretty much goes where ever you need to go, and it cost about 1000 pesos, which is about 50 cents of a dollar.
