I can walk to five different beaches from my home. I hear the cry of the eagle when out gardening. I share my roses with the deer. I kayak out in in credible waters and scenery. I have heard the local whales before I actually see them.I have seen the sunrises over Mount Baker, and the sunsets from Washington Park.
Anacortes is the gateway to thee most beautiful San Juan islands, and boating pleasures anywhere. I have lived in some wonderful places, but this is by far the very best.
