I heard about this place from two girls in my hostel who were from Munich and decided to see if I could find it. Its basically a little religious town in the centre of Amsterdam.
You have to enter off of a side street which is full of shops, but once you do you view a circle of little Dutch houses with a centre lawn, there is a chapel on the left which is obviously such but there is also a hidden church in one of the houses.
This is also home to one of, if not the, oldest house in Amsterdam with an entirely wooden facade.
Its still a religious community, so you have to be extremely respectful when visiting and the hours it is open to the public are also restricted.
