This was a required stop in India, to see the infamous Taj Mahal. It was definitely worth it! The building is very grand, simple, and detailed at the same time (it seems that everything in India can be described with contradictory adjectives). We started out at a large fort with a palace inside, then spent most of the day exploring the Taj and the 2 mosques that flank it (extremely beautiful in their own right!). We stayed to watch the sunset and the moon rise, and then took the train to Delhi that night.
