More than 125 years old, this 75-acre zoo is America's second oldest and one of its best. More than 1 million people visit the museum each year to see more than 500 animal and 3,000 plant species. Favorites include the exotic collection of felines (including some white lions), the renovated Sumatran rhino exhibit, the creatures of the evening in the Nocturnal House, and exhibits focusing on elephants, manatees, polar bears, and more.
