More information on Victoria Park
Victoria Park was opened in 1842, and was the first Victorian park to be owned by the public. It's located in the East End and has a huge pond that makes it reminiscent of Hyde Park, but a lot smaller. There are numerous attractions to keep the children amused, including a deer park, small animal enclosure and a children's playground. There are also football and cricket pitches and a bowls green, so there's always some activity going on. It's also an excellent place for inline skating. The park opens at 6a.
