Tour the Beehive House and discover the story of family life in the 1800s. The house was built in 1854 and was home to Brigham Young when he was President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also governor of the Utah Territory at the time. A beehive structure sits on top of the house and reflects Brigham Young’s belief in a strong work ethic. The home has been restored with furnishings of the period and is considered a National Historic Landmark. Visit the Beehive House for your 30-minute tour any Monday through Saturday from 9am to 9pm. Admission is free.
