Overlooking Hyde Park, the The Dorchester is one of London's most famous and grandest hotels - and its legendary afternoon tea at the Dorchester Bar compliments its reputation perfectly. Tea is held in the promenade, which is the focal point for the Dorchester. It is a room with a beautiful pillared sweep that makes it an ideal vantage point from which to sink back into a soft, plump sofa and watch the world go by - as silver platters laden with dainty sandwiches, tea, scones, cakes, and coffee éclairs are bought for your dining pleasure.
