Originally, the feast of Valborg was a completely different holiday and was based on both nationalism and royalism. But in practice, it is simply a spring festival, with bonfires and student choirs that greet the spring. On the big lawn in front of Björngårdsvillan in Slottsskogen, you will find the largest bonfire in the city. That is, if the fire department has not put a ban on fires, which they tend to do ever so often.
