This small three-unit B&B (one double, one twin, and one single) is in Stockbridge, the handsome and refined district just northwest of the bustling commercial center but miles away in ambience. The building is attributed to architect James Milne, who was responsible for the design of this section of the New Town developments in the 1820s. The spacious guest rooms boast artfully draped chintzes. A lavish breakfast in the dining room may include venison sausages, omelets prepared with free-range hen's eggs, homemade scones, and jams and marmalades.
