More information on Morro da Urca
This is the first hill up the Sugar Loaf. Aside from offering a marvelous view from the top (215 meters high), the base is also a good place to do some hiking. Most of the experienced, skilled mountain climbers will be found scaling the sheer side of the hill, but there are also nice hiking trails that start from the Praia Vermelha, which should keep you busy for more than an hour.
