Located next to the wildly popular Benny's Cantina, the Lancer seems like an odd and unassuming wallflower. But the youthful sect of Capitol Hill, bored by the LoDo scene and searching for a neighborhood watering hole, now call the old joint home. The low ceilings create a fog of smoke, but if you are trying to get beneath the surface of tourist Denver and hang with locals, or are just up for a low-key game of pool, the Lancer is a good choice.
