Otherwise known as the "Crossroads of the World," Times Square is New York City's most famous intersection, almost bursting with lighted billboards, activities, and people. The hectic pace of the city collides here, and on New Year's Eve, hundreds of thousands of people gather to countdown the end of the year and watch the famous ball drop. All year long this is a great place to purchase last minute Broadway Theater tickets and many television studios broadcast live programs from here.
