Real Traveler reviews for Greenwich Village

More information on Greenwich Village

Greenwich Village is one of New York's most vibrant neighborhoods, packed with unique shops, restaurants, music clubs, historic coffee houses and the popular Washington Square Park. Also known as "The Village," this neighborhood was primarily home to writers, painters, musicians, actors and other artists, giving it the reputation as a bohemian community. Today, students from neighborhood universities, tourists and locals continue to head to Bleeker Street in the Village for its nightlife, history and charm.
