Experience a taste of the wild from inside one of Las Vegas' premier hotels, the Hollywood-themed MGM Grand. Every day from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., up to 6 wildcats (lions, tigers, and snow leopards) can be seen playing, eating, and sleeping inside a glass-sided habitat in the Casino area. Informational placards line the glass habitat and regular presentations are given by the animals' trainers. The cats (31 in all) belong to renowned feline expert Keith Evans and live on an 8.5 acre ranch roughly 12 miles from Las Vegas. Mr. Evans' goal in sharing his cats is to both educate and inspire Las Vegas visitors about these magnificent animals. The shows are free of charge, compliments of the MGM Grand.
