Established in 1866, Ogilvy has been at this location since 1912. Besides having a reputation for quality merchandise, the store is known for its eagerly awaited Christmas windows. Once thought of as hidebound with tradition -- a bagpiper still announces the noon hour and special events -- it now contains more than 50 boutiques, including such high-profile purveyors as Dior, Escada, Louis Vuitton, Anne Klein, Aquascutum, and Rodier Paris.
