More information on The Underground Tour
Travel back in time during Seattle's popular Underground Tour, located in Seattle's first neighborhood, historic Pioneer Square. After a devastating fire in 1889, the structures in this neighborhood were built at one level higher than before due to flooding concerns. However, each building had two storefronts, one at the new level, and one at the prior level. This tour takes you underground to the old storefronts while you learn about the history of Seattle.
