The district comprising of Roma and Condesa has, over the last few years, built up a reputation as one of the major focal points of cultural expression within the city, and has even been compared with the famous Soho quarter of New York. Its distinctive restaurants, galleries and theatres, have helped make the zone a popular night-spot. The Casa de la Paz Theatre is located in this sector, and generally presents modern plays belonging to the dramatic, melodramatic and experimental genres. Entrance costs 30 pesos (USD 3) and discounts are available for students and teachers with the appropriate and valid credentials. Friday 8:30p, Saturday 7pm and Sunday 6pm.
