A park adventure is waiting for everyone at Liberty Park, over 110 acres of shaded leisure and fun. Open daily from dawn to dusk this park provides recreation for all ages: paths for jogging, walking, and biking, tennis courts, a swimming pool, horseshoe pits, a small pond with paddleboat rentals, picnic facilities, a small amusement park, a shallow water maze, playgrounds, Tracy Aviary, the Chase Mill, and the Chase Home Museum of Folk Art. Smell the sweet scent of cotton candy from the amusement park concession stand, which also offers hot dogs, hamburgers, ice-cream, and more. Kiddies can enjoy classic rides such as chair swings, merry-go-rounds, a Ferris wheel, and little cars that travel a circular track. Liberty Park also hosts many of Salt Lake City’s popular festivals and events. Admission is free but there is a small fee for swimming, tennis, amusement park rides and paddleboat rentals.
