Begun as a small, intimate lunch counter and cafe for locals and visitors to the Chelsea Flea Market to enjoy a delicious homestyle meal in the Fall of 1998, the gallic atmosphere of the Antique Cafe soon became a wildly popular place to eat. Today, the flea markets are gone, replaced by impressive modern high-rises, but the Antique Cafe remains, serving patrons great food in what remains a cozy, albeit more upscale restaurant atmosphere, which includes an outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying a fine meal or just a glass of wine.
