More information on Seattle Art Museum
Originally founded in 1933, the Seattle Art Museum is one of the premiere attractions in the city and a fine choice for a visit. The 5-story building is a marvel in itself, with terracotta, limestone and marble making up its exterior. Inside is an impressive collection of over 20,000 pieces of Native American, European and African art found in North America. Works range from medieval times and the renaissance up through the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
Price
Admission $7 adults, $5 seniors and students, free for children 12 and under (for some special exhibitions, higher admissions are charged). Regular exhibits, free for 1st Thurs of each month; free for seniors 1st Fri of each month (special exhibitions discounted). Admission ticket also valid at Seattle Asian Art Museum for 1 weekCredit Cards Accepted
