The front of this plain-looking church faces onto the town square with it small cluster of houses. The church still has the look of a fortress about it because of the buttresses holding up the side walls made of bare, unwhitewashed stone, and its small rectangular tower at the back. The altarpiece is original, although the paintings are modern. Because of disagreements between the San AgustÃn parishioners about where the church should stand, building work was delayed considerably several times, and finally began at the end of the 18th Century. There are no visiting times as such, but you can visit the church during mass, which is held on Sundays at 10a and 7p.
