More information on Clock (The)
The Clock is situated just across the road from the NEC, making it a popular place for exhibition visitors as well as locals. As it's on the main A45, it's also a handy place for travellers to stop off for a pub lunch, and has been since well before the NEC opened. The Clock is a part of the Big Steak Pub chain and had a major refurbishment about two years ago. Food is fairly basic Big Steak Pub fare, but specials are usually available and recommended. It is inexpensive, with Sunday roasts, and a two course meal can certainly be had for under a tenner at any time.
