With an efficient passenger and baggage clearing system, world-class facilities, sparkling clean premises and clearly marked floor plans, it is no wonder that Changi Airport is voted the world's best in practically every poll ever taken. Landscaped with beautiful tropical gardens, the departure and transit lounge has more than 20 restaurants and bars, 100 day rooms, business centers, a gym, sauna, health center, mini-cinema, nursery, "science discovery corner" and a beautiful outdoor cactus garden. In the public areas, there are numerous shops selling gifts, souvenirs, books, magazines, perfumes, cosmetics, chocolates, cakes and flowers. There are also 15 eateries to choose from, serving everything from fast food to authentic Chinese seafood. The viewing gallery at Terminal 2 offers great views of planes landing and taking off.
