More information on Austin International Poetry Festival

This annual festival offers anthology releases at five bookstores, poetry readings and performances at venues throughout town (including coffeehouses, bookstores, and galleries), artist panels, and workshops. The event showcases mostly local poets, but artists from across the country and from other parts of the world are also scheduled to participate. It is sponsored by local arts-oriented organizations, and volunteer-run. See their website for locations and further information.
