This uptown student haunt is always bursting at the seams - no surprise given its multiple drinks promotions, relaxed atmosphere, restfully dark lighting and comfy couches. There are quite a few happy hours and even outside these times a pitcher of cocktails is only £10. If pubs were people, Ocho would deserve to have a permanent hangover. As well as fulfilling all the criteria of a satisfactory drinking establishment, it does decent food of the tapas/sandwich/pasta variety and is located near most of the city's nightclubs.
