More information on New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum
A historic introduction to New Orleans is not complete without a trip to this mysterious and eerily fun museum. Located in the French Quarter between Bourbon and Royal Streets, the museum houses artifacts and sacred objects of voodoo, and you'll usually find a voodoo priest or priestess hanging around. The walking tours are the best part. Mourning Tours take you to New Orleans' oldest cemetery and the gravesites of some of the city's most infamous. The Tour of the Undead is a haunting excursion to haunted houses, and the Voodoo/Cemetery Walking Tour is a combination of the other tours, with extras like stories from voodoo lore and a visit to a voodoo pharmacy.
