The Malan family has owned the Simonsig Wine Estate since 1953, and is still producing quality wines that rate amongst the best in South Africa. Simonsig is famous for its Kaapse Vonkel, which was the first sparkling wine to be made in South Africa in 1971. The full range of Simonsig wines are available to taste, with a selection of old vintages available for purchase.
