Attracting SF's most intriguing night-shifters with its early opening time, this low-key lounge is where taxi and bus drivers, financial district kingpins, and adventurous twentysomethings drink from the same cup. The veteran house band kicks up an old-time mix of jazz and blues nightly at 8:30p, so come early to catch the pre-music specials on Irish coffees, margaritas, and champagne. It has great music, great service and an atmosphere that can not be beat. Payment is in cash only.
