More information on PETCO Park
Petco Park, opened in 2004, is San Diego's major stadium. The ball park was built in a style resembling the natural features of the area (sandstone, brick and stucco), including the sandy beaches and limestone cliffs. The architecture contains several interesting features, such as a renovated industrial building converted into the team store and private suites, as well as a grassy area for watching games (or having a picnic) and concourses which are open to the surrounding city.
