More information on Majestic Theatre

Built in 1929, the Majestic boasts of being the prime venue in the city for performing arts. It is managed by the Art Center Enterprises, Inc., which also manages The Charline McCombs Empire Theatre. The architecture reflects influences from the Baroque and the Mediterranean. Elaborate ornamentations, colorful walls with creeping grape vines, statues, a tiled roof and many other design elements convert the venue into a magical setting. Home to touring Broadway shows and the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, this recently renovated theatre, with a huge stage and grand lobbies, also plays host to private and corporate events.
