With a huge seating area consisting of 1700 proscenium hall seats and 200 Black Box Theatre seats, the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is the place to be if you are an art lover! Located in the University of Florida Cultural Plaza, it is the house of all young and old talent in the art scene. International plays such as the Cats and varied performers such as Tony Bennett, Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, David Sedaris, Bill Cosby, Jessye Norman and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra have performed here! What's more, it has hosted world premieres and has played host to Romanian gymnasts! So if you are in the mood to see some real quality performances, head here!
