The club migros holds a multitude of classes for those who want to expand their minds. They offer everything from how to make chocolate to how to photograph your family; computers and mime to Qi-Gong. There are intensive three-hour courses and weekly courses, some for fun and some for professional advancement. The schedules are dizzying so check out their website for more details. You need to understand French for the more intellectual courses, but presumably, you could learn to cook fish in any language.
