More information on Teatro dell'Opera di Roma
If you're in the capital for the opera season -- usually October to June -- you might want to attend a performance at the historic Rome Opera House, located off Via Nazionale. From July 9 to August 5, performances are held at the Teatro delle Terme di Caracalla (Metro: Circo Massimo). You can buy tickets at the box office (closed Mon), at any Banca di Roma bank, or by phone at tel. 800-907080.
