Situated in the Scotch Quarter, the Joymount Arms was established 200 years ago and is one of the oldest pubs in the area. The original operated as a Spirit Grocer where you could indulge whilst buying your groceries. Except for the groceries, the modern establishment still fulfils these basic needs! A family-run business, Joymount Arms describes itself as "the coziest bar in town" and few people would disagree with this. All ages flock to "Ony's" - the typical Irish country pub atmosphere appeals to students, smartly dressed couples and old men standing at the bar. Also open from Monday to Thursday.
