More information on Mercato di Piazza Vittorio
This square, now filled with market stalls, is considered to be the first square in the new Italy. The market has been present since the World War II, and has became the place to find everything from food to stolen goods. The municipal authorities have been gradually reorganizing the market, improving the layout of stalls and working on the garden area at its center.
