Salamander Gallery is an exhibition space for works by artists from New Zealand and the Pacific. The gallery has a small, clean and well-lit space, which is a perfect background for the paintings and sculptures on show. The gallery focuses on exhibiting the works of one or two artists at the same time, specializing in modern and contemporary arts. It creates a calm place for viewing, appreciation and thought in the busy Arts Centre of Christchurch.
