If you are going to the amusement park at Liseberg, why not take the veteran tram from the Central Station. The tram runs on weekends only, during the summer months (April-September). During July, though, it departs daily at 15 to 20-minute intervals, from 11am to 7p. Tickets are purchased on the tram. Children under seven can ride for free. The Gothenburg Card (Göteborgskortet) and the public transport day card are valid here.
