Tucson is home to many equestrian activities, most of them located here at Rillito Park, which has recently been remodeled. The racing season lasts from early February to early March, and offers quarter horse, thoroughbred and Arabian races. The Arizona Desert Finals for hunters and jumpers takes place in early March; call for exact dates and times. After the racing season is over, the park is used for community events and festivals.
