This is the one everyone knows about, even if they've never been here. In continuous operation since 1873, this Capitol Hill institution holds an inside bazaar Tuesday through Sunday, where greengrocers, butchers, bakers, farmers, artists, craftspeople, florists, and other merchants sell their wares. Saturday morning is the best time to go. On Sunday, outside stalls become a flea market. Tuesday through Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm, Sunday 8am to 4pm.
