More information on Royal Palace (The)
The opulent Royal Palace was built in the late 1860s and includes the grande Throne Hall which has been the coronation site for Khmer kings throughout the centuries along with the largest gilded cathedral in the country. Other attractions include an exhibition hall built by the French that houses an original Cézanne and the Royal Residence which is still home to the abdicated King Sihanouk and his son.
