More information on Beara Way Walk

The Beara Way is a progressive, imagination-inspiring, blissfully enjoyable 197km long-distance walk linking the towns of Glengariff and Kenmare via Castletownbere, Bere Island, Dursey Island and the northern portion of the Beara Peninsula. Much of the way is along green roads. The Beara Peninsula (Ring of Beara) is a place of humbling natural beauty that would turn even the most ardent consumer into an environmentalist. Walkers will marvel at the abundance of impressive prehistoric rocks, tombs, and stone circles to be witnessed. A truly life affirming experience.
