The Classic is quite possibly the biggest participatory sporting event in the city. A wide-range of activities are scheduled so everyone from kids to older adults and from the perfectly toned to the regular folk can find something in which to participate. Bicycle races, a children's run, in-line skating events, a wheelchair race, 10K and 2K runs, and a 2K walk all take place. Registration is required; forms are available on the organization's Web site. Money from the event is donated to various charities.
