By far the most notable of the varied summer festivals celebrating local produce is the Día del Pescaíto (Fried Fish Day) in La Carihuela, Torremolinos. Residents and tourists alike come from far and wide to sample this local fare, as well as enjoy drinks on La Carihuela beach. This fish fest starts at 1pm, and is open to all with an appetite for fruits of the sea.
