The Wawel armory showcases both the spoils of war from the battle of Vienna and a collection of weaponry ranging from swords to guns and cannons. According to the noted Polish academic and historian Jan K. Ostrowski 'The collection is not very extensive, and includes about a thousand items'. On a practical note, arrive early or book tickets in advance as there are limits on the number of visitors admitted to the museum. Please check the website for timings.
