One of the most traditional cafés in Kifissia can be found just a short stroll from the metro station. Amaryllis, which is located opposite the former home of the renowned Greek poet George Drossinis, is frequented by artists and politicians who seem to enjoy its cosy atmosphere. Customers here especially appreciate the traditional Greek coffee made on hot ashes and served in a tiny metal pot. Also worth sampling are the tempting homemade sweets.
